Benzoin essential oil is a great calming and uplifting effect, while boosting circulation it also boosts the skin's elasticity, while calming redness, itchiness and irritation. It can be used for, scar tissue, circulation and muscle pains. Benzoin essential oil- base note- has a sweet, warm & vanilla aroma
Lavender essential oil has a healing effect balances, tones and revitalizes and it is known as a beauty herb and useful for all types of skin problems such as, oily skin, sunburn. Lavender essential oil-top note- which is a light fresh aroma
Rosemary which is great for stimulating the brain, improving memory, while helping with stiff muscles. It is also used for improving hair and scalp health. Rosemary essential oil -middle note-powerful refreshing herbal aroma
Tea tree has the undertone with a spicy scent which is great for relieving aches and pains in muscles it also is a powerful anti-fungal oil and helps clear the skin. Tea Tree essential oil -middle note-light spicy aroma
Camomile essential oil is calming it has a soothing and healing influence on the skin it calms red, dry and irritated skin. It is high in (-a)-bisabolol which promotes healing and is also a great tissue regenerator. Camomile- top note- light herbal aroma.
Geranium essential oil helps to create balance between oily and dry skin balances the production of sebum in the skin, while keeping it supple and helping with the healing. Do not use it during pregnancy. Geranium- middle note- with a fresh floral aroma and a hint of mint, a heady floral aroma.
Cedar wood essential oil has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory it can safely be applied externally on cuts, so is very useful ingredient in a shaving soap. Cedar wood essential oil -base note- clean scent
Sea salt is laden with minerals, including magnesium, calcium, sodium, and potassium, all of which play a key role in our skin's health, function, and cellular communication. Sea salt can help balance and improve hydration, strengthen the protective barrier of our skin. The sea salt used in our soap is ethically sourced from West Cork.
Seaweed has the natural scent of the sea there is a clear similarity between our blood plasma and sea water, seaweed contains Vitamins and Minerals which are vital for our health these can be found in marine Algae, which is an ingredients Clarke's of Dublin handmade soap it is excellent for the skin and body. Good for bones, legs and muscles seaweed has curative powers. The seaweed used in our soap is harvested at low tide in Galway & Donegal in Ireland.
Goat’s milk is rich in essential fatty acids and triglycerides. These essential fatty acids have a unique PH similar to humans, so it is less irritating and more easily absorbed by our skin. These fatty acids and triglycerides which is very moisturizing. Goats milk contains precious skin minerals like selenium and is loaded with vitamins, particularly vitamin A, the most important vitamin for the skin. As with other milks, goat’s milk contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). It assists to gently slough off dead skin cells and helps to hydrate and brighten the skin. The goat’s milk in our soap is sources from Co. Offaly.
Horsetail Herb a member of the Equisetaceae family; the sole survivor of a line of plants going back three hundred million years it contains silica, which is recommended for the body to repair bony tissues. Silica helps to fix calcium, so that the body can store more quantity of this mineral and then use it to repair bones, collagen and other body tissues. Clarkes of Dublin macerated horsetail in olive oil & add to our soap at trace to which enriches this ingredient.
